On Tuesday night, in an incident in Clayton County, a Georgia police officer was killed and another was injured. Authorities said the incident resulted in the death of four people, including the suspect.

According to "Atlanta Constitution", the police officer who was killed was identified as field trainer Henry Lakson. He was the third police officer killed on official duties in Georgia in the past month and the eighth this year.
