On Tuesday night, in an incident in Clayton County, a Georgia police officer was killed and another was injured. Authorities said the incident resulted in the death of four people, including the suspect.
According to "Atlanta Constitution", the police officer who was killed was identified as field trainer Henry Lakson. He was the third police officer killed on official duties in Georgia in the past month and the eighth this year.
Clayton County Police Commissioner Kevin Roberts told reporters in the Wednesday morning news that the Clayton County Police received a call at about 8:40 p.m. and rushed to a location in Rex, about 20 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta.
